with the commitment of ensuring that their guests'

is the commitment of Capt. Mike Russell, owner
and operator of Chubasco Charters, the largest
charter fishing company in the Bahamas.
A seventh generation Bahamian, Capt. Mike comes
from a long line of seafaring captains. Both
of his grandfathers were boat captains and one
of his great-grandfathers was a captain on a
three masted sailing schooner.
Chubasco Charters is a Bahamian registered, owned and operated company, specializing in sportsfishing, be it big-game or light tackle reef-fishing. Located in Nassau, at Bayshore Marina, 10 minutes from Atlantis, Sun International's Resort and Casino. Chubasco Charters fleet consist of four yachts, all fully equipped for Sports fishing, Snorkeling, Sightseeing and Island Picnics, Our flagship; Chubasco III a 48' Hatteras and Chubasco IV, our 46' Post, are our two larger air-conditioned sport fishing yachts. Both of these yachts provide all the comforts of home while in search of the big one. Chubasco III and Chubasco IV have fly bridges, large fishing cockpits and comfortable air-conditioned interiors. Both yachts can comfortably accommodate up to 8 persons for fishing and up to 12 persons for Sightseeing, Snorkeling and Island Picnicking. Chubasco V one of our newest additions is an air-conditioned 36' Tiara. With a Marlin Tower, large fishing cockpit and a comfortable air-conditioned interior, Chubasco V can comfortably accommodate up to 5 persons for fishing and up to 6 persons for sightseeing and snorkeling. Chubasco VI is our newest addition, it is a 38' Hatteras Express with a Marlin Tower. It can accommodate up to 6 persons for fishing and up to 8 for sightseeing and snorkeling.
Although all four Chubascos are equipped for the professional, with the best fishing tackle available (Penn International Rods and Reels), the family and novice are just as at home with us as is the experienced angler. In fact 40% of our guests have never been deep-sea fishing before. Capt. Mike considers helping a youngster catch their first ocean fish as one of his greatest thrills. Its an experience they will never forget. The
Bahamas is well known as one of the great Sportfishing
destinations of the world. We have calm water
most of the year and very little travel time
to get to the fishing grounds, our boats are
fishing within 15 minutes of leaving the dock
and are often hooked into fish within 30 minutes.
Less than a quarter mile off Nassau and Paradise
Island on the north and west sides you are in
1,000 feet of water and 4 miles off you are
fishing in 6,000 feet of water. You'll discover
that deep-sea fishing off Nassau is unlike any
other big-game sportfishing experience you've

Blue & White Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin
