James Whitehead started his career here in Nassau some forty years ago. He was a buyer and merchandising artist for many department stores. He’s not only a talented floral designer, but interior designer and decorator as well. Jim is currently responsible for the merchandise display at Coin of the Realm’s Annual (Jewelry) Christmas Show. Here are some of his past accomplishments:
- Co-founder of the Beaux Arts Ball.
- Co-founder and a partner in Marlborough Antiques.
- Booth designer and supplier with The Women’s' Expos.
- Seven time winner of the Guardian Christmas Display trophy.
- Set-designer for The Dundas Theatre and The Operatic Society.
- Provided expertise and décor for The Humane Society Ball, The Red Cross Ball, and Red Ribbon Ball.
